Space Rental



  • Meetings: $35 hr ($25/hr for students + non-profits)

  • Photo Shoots + Video Shoots: $125 for two hours, $50 per each additional hour | $115 for two hours, $40 per each additional hour

    • Includes: two 24" softbox lights, two 33" softbox lights, reflector, 10' backdrop stand, muslin green chromakey backdrop, muslin black backdrop, muslin white backdrop, and artwork removed from walls.

    • Bring your own lights + additional equipment: $50/hr ($40/hr for students + non-profits)

  • Events + Workshops + Classes + Exhibitions: $75/hr ($65/hr for students + non-profits) 

    • 2 hr minimum

    • Event rental includes one hour for set-up, and one hour for clean-up.

    • All rentals are charged a one-time house-keeping fee which we collect to cover cleaning costs such as bathroom supplies, sweeping and mopping. 

      • $25 for events 2-5 hrs long

      • $50 for events 5 hrs+

    • If you'd like to have your artwork hung upon the walls, there is an additional $15/hr. Otherwise, the artwork must not be removed.

  • There is free street parking available in front of the space on Rhode Island Ave, and behind the venue at 41st Street & Utah Ave. The closest metro stops are Rhode Island Ave (12 min) + PG Plaza (10 min). 


additional info

  • Reservations are on a first come first serve basis. Please allow 24-48 hours for someone to respond to your rental inquiry.
  • Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the rental fee is due. The remaining balance is due within five business days prior to the date.
  • Rentals that exceed the agreed time will be charged an additional $100 per hour.
  • If any damages occur to the space during your rental, you will be charged $150 per each hour of your rental. Payment is due within 5 days upon receipt of invoice.

  • Distinctly Creative staff is responsible for setting up and breaking down its own equipment, such as tables, chairs and trash containers, sweeping and mopping. All other set-up, break down and cleaning is the responsibility of the Host

  • All equipment must be removed following the rental.
